Scenes from the Backseat

My mom has a picture of my sister and I asleep in our carseats when we were little. It is one of my favorites. Which must explain why I seemed to take so many pictures of the boys in the backseat on our trip.

We drove from Milpitas to Ventura which is about a five hour trip. With stops we averaged about 7 hours each direction. The boys were really good travelers and only spent a small fraction of the time smacking each other. For the most part, snacking, sleeping, and staring out the windows were the preferred activities.
