Warren used to joke that when he was a kid, he was so poor he had to play with a potato and a spoon. Well, Satchel has discovered the simple pleasures that can be generated from a piece of yarn. This week he has had a string around his neck everyday and has spent hours doing cat's cradle, cat's ears, a house, laundry basket, Eifle tower, and a few others that I think he made up.
Created with Admarket's flickrSLiDR.
I remember making string figures at camp. I was hoping to join in the fun but turns out, having a broken finger makes string figures rather difficult. Hopefully Satchel's interest will outlive my splint.
