Rockin on the River

Saturday, my most awesome husband Warren turned 42. To celebrate we sat around doing nothing all day. In the evening, we went downtown to Maria Montessori School for a special performance by The Glitches, The Ultra Cats, and DJ Zack.

It was like Rock-n-Romp at night. The weather was perfect and the MMS amphitheater is amazing. The boys had a great time running around, climbing trees, playing hide and go seek, and catching frogs. Warren and I enjoyed the view (Warren saw a shooting star), hanging out with our friends, and listening to the music. There's only a slight difference (one person?) between the bands, but with all of the musicians switching instruments and taking turns on vocals it was like we saw ten different bands. Satchel reported that it was "way better than Rock-n-Romp."

Thanks to the Dixons for inviting us!

You sat around doing nothing all day?

Who is this?

It seems Warren would celebrate his birthday by doing as much as possible in the course of a day! I guess old age is catching up with him.

Glad he had a good birthday!

we had plans to do lots of stuff but after the Friday night pre-birthday yummy tamales and fruity rum drinks, we were a little low on energy!
