I love watching the seasons change and there's always something new to discover. Jiro was impressed by the giant acorns.
Satchel called this gumball wrapped in a leaf his Molotov Cocktail.
And, as usual, we were interested to see all of the different mushrooms. I wonder what this one is called...

saturday was a gorgeous day in the forest, wasn't it? glad to see y'all. our friend who was with us had sick kids the day of n's party and wanted to go because she hadn't been. They loved it.
Looks like a perfect trek. I want to learn mushroom ID, too, and get some morels or something in the spring.
