rawTABLE

In March, I coordinated another evening of underground dining, which we call eaTABLE. This time the meal was made from all raw foods. Amy Pickle and Hannah Phillips, who are known as the Raw Girls, are simply amazing. I think everyone was blown away by how good raw food can be.

My pictures don't do the evening justice, but here is a taste. The fabulous Sweazys were our hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed dining in their lovely, handcrafted home.

Here, Amy plates while Hannah snaps her own pics, and Hannah's brother, bartender extraordinaire, seems a little starstruck while taking a break from making his fantastic, tequila based concoctions.

Here's the menu, beautifully designed by eaTABLE OG, Gary B.

Melissa set the cutest tables ever. I didn't get a pre-meal shot per usual, but here's a peek. (This was between courses when everyone was comparing cute puppy pictures.)

Kale salad was our first course and it was so delish. I could eat it every day for lunch. EVERY DAY!

The Raw Girls' signature burger is one of my faves. It is in every weekly box they do for home delivery because it's so popular. Amy changes up the sauces from week to week, and she made it extra special for us.

Croquettes are another Raw Girl staple, and this version really popped thanks to the Mexican flavors that inspired the Raw Girls on their honeymoon the week prior to the meal.

We were all super stuffed by the time dessert hit the table, but oh my. This was seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. The Raw Girls really excel at highlighting natural flavors. The blood orange and the rich, raw chocolate were bathed in an incredible habanero honey. It was divine.

If you haven't tried the Raw Girls home delivery boxes, then you REALLY should. And if you have some cash to spare and are hot to open a new restaurant, these ladies should be at the top of your list. I SO wish they had a restaurant to showcase their amazing talent and food!
