Jam on It

My dearest friend from the Peace Corps, Catherine, has retired from her jet-setting career as an international health worker to stay home with her adorable baby boy, Noah. Not one to just sit around, she's devoted herself to the family business.

Nourse Farm, which is 40 miles east of Boston, was established in 1722 by William and Ebenezer Nurse, two brothers who fled Salem after the hanging of their grandmother, Rebecca Nurse, during the 1692 Witchcraft Hysteria. It's one of the oldest family-owned and operated businesses in the country!!

The Nourse Farm participates in community supported agriculture, offers “Pick-Your-Own” berries, and sells seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables, jams, homemade pies, and other specialty products made from the farm’s produce.

Catherine sent me some of the yummiest jam ever!! It's her own recipe--Peach Raspberry. (She's originally from Georgia!) I just had to share.
