Artsy Fartsy

Tonight Warren and I took the monkeys to The Price is Right Show at the David Lusk Gallery. We were among the first to arrive and the monkeys had strict instructions NOT TO TOUCH ANYTHING, but it was only about two seconds before I felt like barfing. They didn't actually touch anything, but they played a cute little monkey game called "get as close to touching as you possibly can without actually touching."

Thankfully, they caused no harm. By seven the gallery was literally teeming with children and I didn't feel like a total asshat for bringing them. We all enjoyed the show and had a great time looking at all of the excellent work. The monkeys especially liked drinking Sprite.

We decided to buy something for our new house, and were all able to agree on our favorite artist. Now we now the proud owners of "Boys' Club" by Tad Lauritzen Wright



It's awesome.
