Last night when I saw Luke Perry in the audience with his daughter(s), I really felt OLD. However, tonight when my DVR ended just as Ryan was about to announce the winner I felt like a twelve-year-old girl!
I immediately ran to the computer to watch the video on the Fox website, but it hadn't been updated! WHY???
Warren's mom called from California and said she was still watching, so blame it on the West Coast.
I went to Yahoo News to discover that David Cook won and just couldn't believe it. YAY! He is the first Idol contestant that I have ever voted for. (I swear!) And definitely without a doubt he is the only Idol contestant that I have ever wished could put out an album IMMEDIATELY. (If I really was 12, I guess I'd have an iPod and I would have already downloaded everyone of his songs, huh? Damn!)
Thank goodness for YouTube. Until I can see his winning moment, I am just watching this over and over. My favorite performance.
(While I'm confessing, I should say this is the first time I've ever really "surfed" YouTube. Wow. I actually listened to Mariah's version, which I never heard before.)
I would also like to add that the last few weeks of Idol were COMPLETELY boring because the MillFills decided to get married instead of continuing to do a running commentary! WHATever!
