The cruise stopped in four ports: Cozumel, Mexico; Belize City, Belize; Roatan, Honduras, and Costa Maya Mexico. In Cozumel, Warren took the monkeys and my nephew to the Amazing Secret River. Judging from this picture it was completely badass.
According to the kids they got to go swimming, see different land forms and other cool stuff.
After that they went and had lunch on the beach.
Warren even took a picture of his lunch just for me.
Then there was some lounging.
And some frolicking in the sand.
Then it was time to get back on the boat.
In Belize City, Warren, Satchel and my nephew went to the Aztec ruins known as Altun Ha. (Jiro went to a "jungle water park" with my mom, sister, and niece.)
It's probably safe to say that our resident archaeologist was thrilled.
You can get a better idea of the scale in this picture.
Looks like another perk on this excursion was getting to hold a giant lizard. Since that's pretty much Satchel's favorite thing to do, it's probably safe to say he was thrilled.
Satchel was also thrilled to drink out of a coconut. (Seriously this has been a foodie dream of his for awhile.)
Stayed tuned for the Honduras and Costa Maya report.
