Treasure!

Last night we went to the Pink Palace members' party to see the new IMAX, Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure. Their parties are always awesome, but last night was especially great. It seems like membership has doubled since the last party, because there were people everywhere and all three screenings of the IMAX sold out. Usually they serve fancy cheese & crackers, fruit & veggies, and something to dip in the chocolate fountain. Last night they had all of that plus barbeque, spaghetti, and multiple other dishes.

We all enjoyed the IMAX, but the really fun part was Treasure! the new exhibit upstairs. We couldn't make the members' party when it opened a few weeks ago and I mistakenly thought it sounded a little dull. Treasure! is probably the most kid-friendly exhibit I have ever seen at the Pink Palace. It was very hands-on and the kids just loved it.

Especially when they got to dig for their own treasure...
