A Crush

Yesterday, I asked Satchel how his day was and he replied, "Awful!"

"Why?" I asked. He handed me this small piece of paper he had shoved in his jacket pocket.

He was really protesting about how awful this was, but he may have protested a little too much, you know?

I told him he could cut his hair off to get the girls to stop liking him, but he didn't go for it. (Basically, I just want him to get a haircut.)

Isn't cute how "old school" this is in the age of Facebook and texting? She's persistent. I wonder if she can wait until he is actually interested in girls?
